Your pets are family, and we're glad to welcome them. Here's everything about bringing a pet into your RFPC home — clearly laid out, no surprises.
Domesticated dogs, cats, birds, and fish (tanks 10 gallons or less).
Reptiles, rodents, and non-domesticated animals of any kind.
All pets must be disclosed and approved in advance — written consent is required.
Required to keep a pet on the property.
Dogs must be registered in your city or county of residence where applicable.
40+ lbs considered case-by-case — submit recent vet records and a photo with your application.
Bringing in a pet without approval results in a $299 illegal pet fee, plus pet rent back-charged from the start of your lease ($35/month, or $70/month if oversized). The pet must be removed or properly registered. Please just talk to us first — it's always easier.
For the safety of our communities, the following breeds (or mixes of them) are not permitted:
Service animals are not pets under the law, and we honor that fully — no pet fees, deposits, or breed/weight restrictions.
To request one, you'll provide documentation from a licensed physician or mental-health provider who is currently treating you or has a history of treating you for the relevant condition. Documentation must confirm the ESA is necessary for your well-being; online-only or one-time evaluations are not sufficient. Each request is reviewed individually in accordance with applicable law. Renters insurance is required, and up-to-date vaccination records may be requested.
